Hello, once again. I know it will be quite some time before you get this. But our travels have been getting even more adventurous since the last time I wrote, so this time you will be getting a few letters at once, they have bunched up quite a bit.
We’ve been killing a lot of Rat people. We discovered that there are Were-Rats living under Boulders Gate. But we are now convinced they have all left because he killed most of them. We also took part in the famous game of Siege Ball, which we won BY DEFAULT! Our team absolutely bludgeoned them.
We then went out to find some work so we looked around the city looking work. Which we found a lady who has fears that her Sorcerer husband is in grave danger and or is possibly dead. So we began preparing ourselves for the big quest. But we then found ourselves in another quest to find the disappearance of a Nobel boy. But we soon realised that finding information about the boys whereabouts wasn’t so easy. So we decided to complete the quest we promised to the lady that we’d find her husband named Felton.
So after we prepared ourselves and were ready to begin our quest we started walking down the main road towards the forest and the forest is HUGE! So it took us a couple of days to get to our destination.
During the night when we were camping on the road side we were awoken by a group of Orc’s which we slayed. Then we continued on until we bumped into two Grimlocks, Gorash killed one almost instantly.
Then we interrogated the other as we injured him. But just as he was about to finish what he was saying Gorash just chopped his head off. He is an absolute animal at times. But with the very infomation we got from him, we headed towards a mountain that led to a cave entrance. The cave was in ruins and it seemed to have Orcish writing everywhere, but the one orc we have CAN’T READ ORC!! We then killed a bunch of rats and a Ghoul and we met an Orc who was clealy very powerful but we couldn’t see him. He spoke to Gorash and he told us we should leave and were clearly unprepared. We then decided to ignore him because we clearly knew better than him. We then saw a bell trap and avoided it and we saw a Ogre and I decided to sneak attack it and I WRECKED HIM! I stabbed STRAIGHT into the neck and his neck EXPLODED with blood! The Ogre was clearly protecting something either from those going in or out.
So anyway we went into the ruin of the cave and we were travelling through all these ruins and we killed a few Rat People and then we walked into this big cave room that had a small river going through it. Maru and I went to look around but as we were looking Baker heard a loud noise and called us over to investigate.
As we went over I saw a HUGE shadowy beast! I instantly knew it was a dragon and I RAN for it! And yelled the safety word “RAVIOLI!!” I heard a big liquidy roar behind me as well as some yells of agonising pain but I kept running and as I ran Maru and Gorash sped STRAIGHT passed me. As we were all running I felt the presence of what could only be the Dragon behind me. At this point it was becoming pitch black as it was a dark cave and Maru’s torch was becoming fainter as he ran into the distance. I knew that this dragon was going to breathe death upon me so I did the thing I do best, using the last fragments of light from Maru’s torch I saw another cave archway/room and I darted to the right, entering it. It was absolutely pitch black at this point, I could only see about five feet infront, so I ran a bit into the room and hid next to one of the walls of the cave and hid amongst the ruble/shrubs. I stayed there for a little while, not as much as I should have but I was so afraid it felt as though I was there for ages. I wasn’t sure if the dragon had followed me in, but I couldn’t hear anything at first. But seconds later I heard large breathing that clearly wasn’t mine. I knew he was in the room with me, but I was unsure whether he knew where I was. I trusted in myself that I was like a ghost at hiding and didn’t move a muscle. After another short moment I no longer heard his presence. I decided I’d wait a little longer before coming out of hiding. After that while I decided to move very silently towards where I came, using the cave wall as a guidance due to not being able to see anything. I continued doing this for quite some time, still in fear that the dragon was either right behind or in front of me. I then came towards a door entrance that had a torch attached to the wall, which had a few dead Rat People, I remembered going through this area before and that it was us that killed the Rat People, it was the fork shaped ruin. I looked around the room but it was only filled with beds and stuff that was practically junk. So I took the torch and began walking down the other side of the fork, which eventually led me to a cross roads. Remembering that when we first entered the cave we kept going left, so I decided to go right and I eventually made it to the exit where there was a BIG chair/throne and I slowly popped my head around it and saw Maru and Gorash! Which I then ran to and I gave the biggest hug of relief to Maru because I was absolutely SOOO terrified and I was certain I was going to die. And I was just sooo happy I almost cried. Gorash was sleeping at the time, but I couldn’t see Belros and I asked Maru but he didn’t know where he was. At this point swe didn’t give up and decided we’d wait at least 24 hours before leaving without him. I then told him of my terrifying experience to Maru. Soon after we saw Belros appear at the FRONT/entrance side of the cave, and he was drenched and in a REALLY bad state. We had no idea how he got there, but he did and that was all that mattered. We then spent shifts healing him as we stayed the night tending to his wounds as well as Gorash’s (the dragon was an Acid dragon and melted his face off). During the night I heard sounds of fighting towards where the dragon was, soon after a Ghoul appeared. I don’t know if they were connected at all, but Baker and I killed it, after my break of tending his wounds/looking out for enemies, Maru took his shift. In the morning there were a few dead Dire Rats, which I assumed he killed. After we were all nice and healthy we trekked out towards Balders Gate.
