As we were traveling we were all in a very good mood and decided to do some interpretative dancing. My dancing looked like I was just flapping my arms around and my legs were going all over the joint, however, Maru’s dancing was something of a majestic mirror dance and Gorash was dancing like a Zoo of wild animals. But then Belros’ dancing was SOOOOO WHACK it ACTUALLY angered a swarm of nearby bees, which stung him profusely, he tried to kill them with his sword (haha) but soon realised that he needed to kill them with a torch or something alike. We were too busy laughing at the ridiculous site (whilst still dancing) that we weren’t actually helping him. Then it got to the point where he actually may have died, but he managed to kill them all just before. I look back on it feeling absolutely horrible, but it was just soo ridiculous and hilarious that we couldn’t help it (I actually truly do feel horrible. I’m a bad person :‘( ), Maru then healed him a little and then we trekked on. We then stumbled upon some rather large rocks sticking out of the ground, which had Sylvan writing on it, which I of course could understand. It read about a Sanctuary East from our location, which Maru and Balros was certain it was the Ruin/Cathedral-like building that they had stumbled upon awhile ago that had the Assassin Vine that almost killed them. We then decided we’d visit our Druid friend Gilda Waynetthorp, as we needed rest and Belros needed someone to tend to his Bee Sting wounds.
We told her about the big rocks that had Sylvan writing on it but it seemed she had no idea what it was. We then told her that we had planned to go to the Sanctuary where the Assassin Vine was to check it out. So the next day we ventured out and went there. We all got our arrow out and shot the Vine repeatedly until it was dead, we then went in and scoped out the tombs that were inside. They were pretty much all opened and empty, but they all had Sylvan writing on them, which I read, one said “Gleb”, which translated into “Halfmoon”, the other “Glindalen” = “Cresent Moon”, "Baleriff"" = “Sunset” and “Caoan” = “Sunrise”. We then discovered a trap door and we decided to go down it, as we went down it was a very small corridor, Maru and Belros were fine walking through, as they are quite small. However, Gorash was having a struggle getting through and I had to crouch a little, but no way near as much as Gorash. The corridor had two even smaller curvy hallways opposite each other, Gorash and Belros turned into the left one (always go left) as Maru and I went forwards towards what seemed to be a huge Vault-like circular door that had four half spheres sticking out of it, which had the writing that was on the tombs next to each half sphere. I then decided to read each one out aloud to to if it would open the door, but nothing happened. Suddenly Gorash and Belros ran out and quickly climbed back up the ladder saying that we should also get out. Unsure as to why we hastily followed. Gorash said that there was a huge nest/pile of Dire Rats. So I said that maybe Maru should throw a ball of fire onto them and then we devised a plan. The plan was that Maru would throw his Alchemist fire onto the nest, then he’d run out and Gorash would block attack the Rats exit as they burned. Long story short, the plan worked out very well and we all managed to get a kill. Mainly Gorash and Maru got the kills. After that Maru and I went back to the Vault to give it another crack, as Belros and Gorash checked out the other curved hallway. Maru touched to of the half spheres and they both began to emit a slight glow, he then took his hands off and they stopped glowing. We then decided that he’d touch two as I spoke those words . He touched the Sunrise and Sunset, “Caoan” “Baleriff”, I said and he let go of them and they kept their glow. He touched the other two, “Gelb” “Glindalen” and then the vault door began to open, Gorash and Belros behind us. The room inside was as if it were bright as a nice Summers sky and it was filled with lush plants and grass, it was truly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. There was a fountain with flowing water with a statue of a man, which we believe to be some kind of nature God. I approached the fountain, the grasing springing back healthily behind me and I cupped my hands and took a sip and it restored my mind, body and soul. It was some kind of magic and pure water. I whipped out my Water skin and filled it to the brim, as did Maru. Belros then spotted a tree that had Pears on it. We decided to take a couple each and leave to tell the amazing discovery to Gilda Waynetthorp. As we left the room we closed the vault door behind us and Belros and Gorash said the other hallway led to a hidden exit/entrance under a tree, so we exited through that way and headed back to Gilda Waynetthorp. Suddenly Belros spotted something above us in a tree and it shot something white at Gorash, which I instantly thought “SPIDER!!!” and I was RIGHT, the spider shot a web at Gorash but missed, Belros and I then shot an arrow at it but unfortunately missed. Then Gorash shot a WHOPPING blow and it scurried back up the tree. Eager to tell Gilda the news about the Sanctuary and it being night, we decided to let the Spider go. Once we arrived at Gilda’s we told her the news and she was VERY interested and wanted to see the Sanctuary herself. So the next day we trekked back and did the secret code to open the door, which it did. She was very impressed with the news and said that she had no idea that something so great and beautiful existed in her forest and that she must protect it, which we all agreed. Belros then tested what the Pear actually did and whether it had magic too. One bite and he said he felt more lively than ever. So we grabbed a couple more and we ventured out back to Balders Gate.
